Housing & Community Lead

Paul’s journey in the housing sector has been driven from a longstanding passion for housing, construction and development, and supporting communities. He studied Housing Management at the University of Ulster, completing a placement year with Habinteg, now Woven Housing Association, where he later spent several years contributing to frontline housing services. He then joined Grove Community Housing Association as a Housing Officer, progressing to Senior Housing Officer, and now serves as Housing and Community Lead. Paul has been with Grove for 8 years.

Over the course of his career, Paul has led housing services, managed complex housing issues, and supported team development. He plays a key role in tenant participation, service delivery, and the ongoing review and development of policies. Paul also represents the organisation at sector events and conferences, ensuring best practice and sector insights inform our work.

Paul’s commitment to residents and his exemplary approach to housing and community support have been widely recognised. He received a NIFHA Shining Star Award and has been shortlisted for CIH and Supporting Communities awards, reflecting the high regard in which he is held by colleagues, partners, and tenants. Earlier in his career, during his time with Habinteg, as a student, he was nominated for Young Housing Professional of the Year.

With a lifelong interest in housing and community development, Paul is dedicated to helping people now and into the future, ensuring services are responsive, compassionate, and impactful. Outside of work, Paul enjoys keeping fit, playing football, and is a committed Arsenal supporter.
