Mike assumed the role of Managing Director of Octavia Living in 2016, following the merger of Ducane Housing Association and Octavia Housing, a role he held in addition to his responsibilities at Ducane.

Octavia Living, the commercial property arm of the Octavia Group, operated under Mike’s leadership as part of the Group's senior management team. In this capacity, Mike oversaw a wide-ranging development portfolio, from small infill or ‘locked’ sites to a major new-build scheme, where managing sales risk and overseeing marketing strategy were critical.

Throughout his tenure, Mike achieved several notable milestones, including successfully negotiating a land sale on a challenging development site, conducting feasibility studies on modern methods of construction for an existing block in Fulham, and driving forward planning consents on valuable sites in Westminster. Additionally, he conducted extensive research and implemented a tax-efficient structure for transferring Octavia Living properties to the charitable parent organisation.

Mike's professional accomplishments are underscored by his commitment to ongoing professional development, as evidenced by his attainment of CIH Professional Qualifications.

His strategic vision, coupled with his hands-on approach to project management, has contributed significantly to the success and growth of Octavia Living within the Octavia Group.

Mike is Chair of the Grove Community Housing Association Audit & Risk Committee.
